through the course of 8 weeks fellow peers and I have been learning basic operations of Linux OS.

Linux skills learned below.

Before this course

Before studying Linux OS, I didn’t really have much of an idea of how it can be used. I also didn’t know a single command for it as well.

After this course

Now I have a good understanding on how Linux OS works and know a few commands. I am familiar with basic functions on Linux OS and ready to take the next steps to really learn about the system and become well rounded in this area.

Learned how to make executable files and make permissions for the files.
Setting the PATH variable so we can access the file non sudo.
We also learned how to add and remove users which falls under the basic operations but doesn’t mean it’s any less important to know how to do so!

In Conclusion

We had a very good crash course on Linux OS but there is more to learn before trying to go for something like the Linux+. I will eventually go for the certification, but I need to study more!
